Fremont Place Apartments

Located in the “Center of the Universe”, better known as the quirky neighborhood of Fremont, the Fremont Place Apartments was built during World War I originally as a tile factory and later a candy factory. Sandwiched halfway between the famous Lenin Statue and Fremont Rocket, the building was repurposed as a rooming house after World War II for fishermen coming into port until their next outing.
